®ISOMAX-TERRASOL Casa "Zero Energia" - Thermomodernización



Thanks to the latest ®ISOMAX technology, it is now possible to upgrade existing international buildings to the passive house standard.

  • An energy accumulation system is installed in the soil at the level of the foundation slab of the building and connected to the exterior walls and roof surfaces by fluid-filled polypropylene tubing.
  • The wall and roof surfaces are consist of a dual insulating layer with integrated fluid-filled polypropylene tubing systems, with one circuit acting as a thermal barrier and a second circuit acting as a solar absorption system. The fluid-filled polypropylene tubing on the surface facing the inner building provides the thermal barrier function (heating or cooling), while the fluid filled polypropylene tubing on the exterior surface provides the solar absorption function or acts as a second thermal barrier under extremely cold weather conditions (slow-acting climate control).
  • Heat is collected by the absorption tubing on the roof and walls and accumulated in the soil. This heat is also used to regulate the building climate.
  • Ventilation is provided using a coaxial, stainless steel pipe-in-pipe counter flow system (fast-acting climate control) installed in the soil outside the building at the level of the foundation slab, which utilities inexhaustible, renewable energy for climate control (heating and cooling).
  • Thanks to this revolutionary, patented ®ISOMAX energy-saving technology, it is now possible to upgrade all existing buildings worldwide to the passive house standard at an affordable price  using regenerative, inexhaustible near-surface geothermal energy and solar energy.
